Meet Authoress Tamyara Brown Continued...

Tamyara Brown attended Long Island University and worked as a customer service rep. until she had to take a leave to care for her son who is diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome and Focal Segmental Glomesclersios. During this time she wrote her first Debut novel Fat Girl Vigilante that's scheduled to be released in Spring/Summer 2013.It was her ex-fiance who told her to share her writing with the world and she took his advice and started sharing her writings on Facebook and Writers Cafe.

When asked what was her take on the industry and how it has changed, her take on it was that it can be a blessing and a curse to self-publishing. Anybody now with internet access can publish a book now who has something to write about can become a published author. Unity in the industry for authors is in an all time low with beef, drama, and thieves of the industry now. People are dropping large quantity of books versus quality. She believes in quality over quantity. Let's see what's she's going to do next.

MY LITTLE DIRTY SECRET

AN EXCERPT FROM MY LITTLE DIRTY SECRET:

“Well, Nikia got a feel of that beat down. It took Mrs. Johnson to pull Terri off of her.” She said, looking at her watch.
“Don’t tell me it was because of Wayne?” Mitchell asked, looking at her.
“And you know it.” She said as Wayne and Terri walked up.
Hey guys, where are we going to eat? I’m starving like Marvin.” Wayne said, sitting down next to Tyra.
 “Where are we going?”
“We’re going to Wendy’s.” Tony replied, looking at Terri who wasn’t paying him any mind because she was busy looking in her purse.
“That’s cool, because I’m starving,” Wayne said as Nikia walked up to him.
“Hey, I have something for that stomach if you come over to my house. You can drink all of my juices and you will be full.” Nikia said seductively rubbing his leg.
Everybody sat there and watched how bold she was and how disrespectful she was being towards Terri. Before anyone could react, Terri had Nikia on the ground beating the daylights out of Nikia. It took Tony and Mitchell to pull her off of her while Wayne stood there with a dumb smile on his face.
“Terri stop before you get kicked out of school.” Mitchell told her trying to hold onto her.
“I don’t care, that bitch done disrespected me for the last time. I don’t think so,” She said, trying to get away from Mitchell but couldn’t.
“Man, you’re some help.” Tyra told Wayne pushing him in the back of his head hard. “Nikia just disrespected yo girl and you’re standing there with a dumb look on your face? What kind of man are you?” Tyra asked, glaring at him while walking out of the door.
“I am a man who got two women fighting over me.” Wayne said, laughing.
They finally got Terri out to Mitchell’s car while Wayne followed them. Nikia tried to get to Terri, but Tony wouldn’t let her.
“Look Nikia, you need to chill out. Everybody knows you’re after Wayne, but it’s not going to happen so you need to take a chill pill and give up and stop acting like a tramp.” He told her.
Tony left the cafeteria and got into Mitchell’s ride and they left to go get something to eat. The air was full of tension. It was so thick you can cut it with a knife. Terri had her back turned on Wayne who was looking at her.
“So, it’s like that now huh?” Wayne asked her, while rubbing her back.
Terri turned around on him so fast, everybody held their breath waiting for the words to start flying, and “How can you sit there and ask me that dumb ass question after what you did?”
“What did I do? I didn’t do anything.”
“That’s my point, you didn’t do anything! You stood there and let her touch you and disrespect me like that! What kind of man would allow another woman to touch him while he with his woman? None, only your stupid ass!”
“Look, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you like that. I was shocked that’s all. And you better stop yelling at me like you ain’t got any sense.”
“Or what? You deserve to be yelled at! How can you tell me not to yell at you when you let some chicken head touch you like she did? You’re a sorry piece of meat! It took Mitchell and Tony to step up.”
“What did I tell you? Don’t be disrespecting me in front of people.” He told her glaring at her.
“Oh, you’re mad because I’m telling you about yourself? You need to be told, so you can wake up and see what you did.” She told him with a disgusted look on her face.
“Girl, what is your problem? Look, I said I was sorry for what happened, but I’m not going to sit here and let you talk to me any kind of way, because I’m about to dig in your behind!” He told her angrily looking at her.
“Hold up bruh, you’re not going to do anything to my sister. She has the right to get in yo ass about the stunt you just pulled. You just stood there and let that trick disrespect her like that and you didn’t do a damn thang about it. Saying I’m sorry isn’t going to cut it. Think about it man, how would you feel if another nigga disrespected you, what would you do?” Tony asked him glaring at him.
“I would kick his ass.” Wayne responded.
“My point exactly and she would be right next to you.”

Joy

Joy isn't a feeling that you get by winning the lottery. Joy comes from deep within. Not when things are going good, Joy comes from deep within. when things are going bad, Joy comes from deep within. when you have Jesus in your life, Joy comes from deep within. The reason why Joy comes from deep within is because that's where Jesus is at, within you. No matter what you are going through, Joy is there and you can face your problems head on and still have joy. Never let no one still your Joy because that is what keeps us moving along.

My Little Dirty Secret By Elois Thames (Unedited)

Terri looked at the sleeping baby. Played with her hair and fingers. She couldn’t

believe how beautiful she was. Even though she was a product of rape, she felt something

strange. She couldn’t put her finger on it. She felt weird. As she was holding the baby,

 Mitchell came into the room.

“Hey you, how are you?” Mitchell asked giving her a kiss and hug.

“I’m good and you?” Terri asked looking up to him.

“I’m better since I see you now. I see you’re holding the baby?”

“Yes. I have a question for you.”

            “What is it?”

“Would it be wrong if I decide to keep the baby?”

“No, it wouldn’t be wrong. Why, you’re changing your mind?”

“I don’t know. Joslin and Curtis came by today. And they said something that got

me thinking. After I prayed about it, God wants me to wait. But that’s not what got me

thinking though, it’s what they said, wolves in sheep clothing. They told me not to rush

into anything. Don’t jump at the first family that says I want to adopt a child.”

            “That’s some good advice.”

“I know she’s my father’s child, but I also don’t want to see abused either. So,

I’m having my mother do a background check on them. And plus, I haven’t received any

papers yet.” Terri told him.

“Wait baby, do what God told you to do. Have you thought of a name for her

yet?”

            “Joslin Curtera Robinson.”

“That’s a pretty name. I like that. I’ll be here for you no matter what you decide to

do. Okay?”

“I know baby.” Terri said looking at him as Mr. and Mrs. Johansson came into the

room.

Mrs. Johansson looked surprised to see Terri holding the baby. She got real

jealous.

“Terri, what are you doing?” Mrs. Johansson asked coming over to the bed trying

to take the baby out of her arms.

“Excuse you, you can’t just come in here and try to take her out my arms. What’s

wrong with you?” Terri told her holding the baby next to her.

“You know you’re not supposed to hold her because you’re giving her up for

adoption.”

“You haven’t presented me with no type of paperwork and furthermore, I’m

going to wait. Now can you please leave?”

“You can’t back out now. We already paid our….” Mr. Johansson said, but

 stopping in mid-sentence.

Mitchell stepping in between him and Terri, “I think you better leave now,

because you are some crooks. Yall just want the baby to sell her to somebody else.”

Mitchell said, glaring at her.

“You got that right Mitchell. Isn’t that correct Joseph Day and Naomi Dean. They

are wanted in five states for posing as a married couple and exclaiming they can’t have

children. So they fake a contract from a made up lawyer and then they take the child and

sell them to rich families.” Katherine said coming through the front door with three

police officers with her. “Get away from my daughter and granddaughter.”

“How did you find out?” Naomi asked. Looking over at Katherine.

“Oh, I did a background check on you. You see, I’m a lawyer. That’s where you

fail to ask. I did some digging and look what I turned up. Officers take them.” Katherine

said standing in front of her daughter.

So the police read them their rights and led them out of the room. Katherine gave

a sigh of relief. She turned and looked at her daughter who was still playing with the

baby.

“How are you holding up sweetie?” Katherine asked.

“I’m happy. I’m glad I listened to Joslin and Curtis. After I prayed, God told me

to wait and that’s what I did. And he showed their true agenda. Mama, I’ve decided to

keep her.”

            “I’m glad you decided that.”

            “You do?” Terri asked confused.

“Because I much rather for her to be raised by someone who is blood than by

some stranger. You know?”

“Yes I know, but won’t it remind you of what daddy did to me?”

“No. I’m going to love her like she’s my own. She’s innocent in all of this. So

what did you name my grandbaby?” Katherine asked holding out her arms for her.

            “Joslin Curtera Robinson.”

“That’s a beautiful name. I like that.” Katherine told her.

In the hall, Curtis and Joslin smiled glad that their work is done. Now they know

Terri is on the right track. As they walked down the hallway towards the elevator, they

vanished. No one would believe that they were actually angels sent by God to guide Terri

into making the right decision.

Problems

Problems

We all have problems. The world has problems. It's not a perfect world. Why should we stress. Give it to God and be happy through no matter what. I was told by a very good mentor, that when you take on other people's problem, you're adding stress to your life. Don't take on nobody else's problems but your own. If they have a problem, guess what, it's their problem not yours. Why worry about about what other's think? They're the one who needs to fix it not you. When you have a goal, no matter what you go through, keep going and staying focused until you get it done. You plant that seed and watch the fruitation of your labor. People always tends to see your problems and not there's. If everyone stop thinking about what other's thinks of them and do them, we would be in a better place. Leave the stress alone!

Can't get enough of you

Can't get enough of you

It seems I can't get enough of you. Whenever you're in my presence, I got to be near you. When you're gone, I can't get enough of you. You're always on my mind. How did it get this far? I know, you're forever in my presence. My body aches for you. Yearning for your touch, your loving, Why can't you go away? If you go away, I can't get over you. So please stay. I need you by my side. We are one. God has place you in my life and I don't want you to go because I can't get enough of you!

Trust

Trust
Trust is the big issue these days. When can a person trust someone? Is it earned or do you give it? Can you trust after someone did you wrong? What is the foundation of a relationship? Trust is the foundation to a very good relationship. If you don't have trust, you don't have anything. Once in a relationship, you trust that the other person would do you right and not betray your trust. But once they do, it's hard to get it back. So if you're in a relationship, please don't break that trust with that person you love, because that one night of lust and passion will end it all for you.
That is all.

All I want is to be loved

All I want is to be loved:
All I want is to be loved, is that too much to ask for? I've been hurt so many times til  ain't funny no more. Do I know what true love is? When I do get the good, do I know how to keep that love or push it away because all I'm use to is bad? All I'm doing is waiting on God to send that perfect one for me. And I believe I have. All I want is to be held. Is that too much to ask for?

Why do we cry?

Why do we cry?
Why do we cry? We cry when we're hurt, we cry when we're sad, we cry when we're angry, we cry when we're happy. They say crying is cleansing the soul. I believe it is true. When I cry and cry, when I'm done, I feel so much better. It's good to cry. It help you get rid of all the negative energy that was on the inside of you. The saying goes, men ain't suppose to cry, really, so they got to hold all their pain, anger, happiness all on the inside? No, they need to cry to. It's a way to cleanse your soul. So go on cry and watch how much better you're going to feel afterwards.

Men stop having babies to get what you want!

Men stop having babies to get what you want!...
When will men realize that they cannot sell women dreams to get what they want. Stop using women for your cash flow. Be a man and get a job stop being lazy. If you got more than 12 kids, you need to check yourself, something is wrong with you. Telling these women to have your babies and then leave them. Where they do that at? Grow up and be a man. What goes around will come back around. Grow up! You can't take care of all of those kids, so why are you having them? Keep your stuff inside of your pants!

When life knock you down

When life knock you down...
When life knock you down, don't stay down, get back up again. We're going to go through trials and tribulations, but know God is testing us. God has already won the battle, all we got to do is get to the finish line. Life has a lot of ups and downs, it's up to us if we're going to stay down or get up and keep it pushing. Stand up and dust yourself off and keep on going, get knocked down again, get up and dust yourself off again. With each knock down, you are becoming stronger!

~Why loving the wrong person is wrong~
Why loving the wrong the person is wrong is because while you're giving your love to him/her, him/her isn't returning their love to you. The only thing their doing is taking from you instead of helping you. They take without giving back. What is a person to do? They will take til they bring you down to your lowest point. But we can get up and rise up against that. We deserve to be loved the right way. When we do, everything will fall into place. We can get through the ups and downs because our love will make it through. Love doesn't hurt, loving the wrong person does. ~Elois~
