James Gordon also known as G.P.A. was born and raised in Chicago, IL where he currently resides on the southside of Chicago. Everyone may wonder what G.P.A. means. G.P.A stands for the Greatest Poet Alive otherwise known as the Poetic Unsub.

When he was sitting his prison cell, he had a conversation with God who told him this is what he needs to do. This is when he began his writing career. He begin writing in 2007.
